Are you being attacked? Fight fire with fire!

Those who seek my life set their traps, those who would harm me talk of my ruin; all day long they plot deception. Psalm 38:12

O LORD, keep me out of the hands of the wicked. Protect me from those who are violent, for they are plotting against me. The proud have set a trap to catch me; they have stretched out a net; they have placed traps all along the way. Selah Psalm 140:4-5

WEAPONS of warfare:

  1. Pray-continuously keep an open line of communication with GOD by speaking to HIM & allowing HIM to speak to you. Philippians 4:6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
  2. Study the words of GOD-read GOD’s words over & over allowing it to be a part of you. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
  3. Sing to GOD-Sing worship songs & play praise music. James 5:13 Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 1 Corinthians 14:15 Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.
  4. Speak the words of GOD-use Bible verses against every evil thought, action, & situation. Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.
  5. Join- gather together with other GOD~fearing believers to uplift each other. James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
  6. Fast-refrain from what ever you want removed out of your life replacing it all with GOD. Matthew 17:20-21 “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. But an evil spirit of this kind is only driven out by prayer and fasting.”

My heart grew hot within me, and as I meditated, the fire burned igniting a fire of words. “LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered–how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Selah Psalm 39:3-5

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Psalm 32:3-4

But if I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it! Jeremiah 20:9

Luke 21:34-35 “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be loaded down with self-indulgence and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.”
